Job Description

Birla Open Minds International School, Proddaturu is seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics & Pre-Primary Teacher to join its academic team. The candidate will be responsible for teaching Mathematics to students as per the curriculum requirements and nurturing young learners in the pre-primary section through engaging, age-appropriate learning activities. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills, and a commitment to creating a positive and stimulating learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics effectively using interactive and student-centered teaching methods.
• Plan and deliver lessons in accordance with the school’s curriculum and academic standards.
• Develop engaging learning activities for pre-primary students.
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and educational materials.
• Maintain classroom discipline and encourage positive student behavior.
• Monitor students’ academic, social, and emotional development.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress.
• Participate in school events, meetings, training programs, and extracurricular activities.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
• Preferred: B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education), D.El.Ed., Montessori Training, NTT (Nursery Teacher Training), or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Postgraduate qualifications in Mathematics or Education will be an added advantage.

Experience Requirements

• 0–5 years of teaching experience in Mathematics and/or Pre-Primary education.
• Freshers with relevant qualifications and strong teaching aptitude are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in CBSE, ICSE, or international curriculum schools is preferred.
